R.E.L. Properties was built around family, faith and the belief that the relationships formed through the work matter just as much as the finished project.
I did not set out to become a contractor. I discovered the work I was meant to do.
I began my career in the mortgage industry with plans to eventually pursue real estate investing. As I worked on my own properties, I experienced many of the frustrations homeowners often encounter during construction—poor communication, unexpected delays, and workmanship that did not always meet expectations.
I do not say that to criticize other contractors. Those experiences simply pushed me to take on more of the work myself. Over time, I realized construction was not only something I could do—it was the part I genuinely loved.
I enjoy walking into a space and seeing what it could become. I love helping homeowners imagine a room differently, solving the problems that stand in the way, and bringing a creative vision to life before the work even begins.
That is why R.E.L. Properties is built around more than the finished result. Clear communication, reliability, respect for your home, and attention to detail shape the entire experience.
The name R.E.L. connects me with my sons, Emmett and Levi. Occasionally, the boys—now 17 and 12—work alongside me. They are learning work ethic, respect, the importance of keeping your word, and what it means to serve people well.
At the end of every project, I hope each family feels they mattered.

Home renovations can be exciting, but they can also feel stressful and overwhelming. Strong communication and mutual trust can change the entire experience.
My goal is not only to leave a homeowner with a space they love. I want them to feel that they were listened to, respected and cared for throughout the process. I want them to be comfortable recommending me to the people they care about—not because of a sales pitch, but because of the relationship we built while doing the work.
Our Christian faith is central to our family and the way we try to live. It reminds us to serve others honestly, treat people with dignity and do our work with the kind of care we would hope to receive ourselves.
We're not simply building rooms. We're building something that lasts—for our clients and for our own family.
Every job has an apprentice.
This homeowner's Labrador decided she was part of the crew.
Wherever the work took me, she was not far behind—usually finding a comfortable spot nearby to keep an eye on the project or sneak in a nap.
